Today is World COPD Day
COPD stands for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. It is the name used to describe a number of conditions, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, where people have difficulty breathing because of long-term damage to their lungs.
Around three million people are estimated to be living with COPD in England alone; over two million of these are unaware that they have the condition.
This year for World COPD Day, British Lung Foundation (BLF) have planned a range of activities to help raise awareness and understanding about the disease.

Christmas Card time
