Spares and Accessories

A quick reminder about caring for your nebuliser
The most important thing to remember with any nebuliser is to check your Spares and Accessories. Medication chambers, Air tubes, Drive lines, Masks, Mouthpieces and Filters are a vital part of any nebuliser and need to be cleaned, cared for and changed regularly or your compressor just won't run efficiently.
No matter how much you spend on a unit if you neglect this aspect you may find you gain no benefit from your prescribed therapy and you could damage your unit. To see lots more useful information as to why this is so important click HERE and click HERE to discover which nebuliser you have and how often you may need to change yours. If you do need to purchase new ones click HERE

What is a Pari O-PEP?

The Pari O-PEP, what a brilliant name. Even though personally I wouldn't benefit from a mucus clearance device I would still love to own one just for the name. It lives up to its title too, it's jaunty looking and comes in a perky little red bag.

Of course mucus clearance devices aren't suitable for everybody and you can read HERE just who would benefit from using one. I have to say when used appropriately many of you find they bring not just the benefits expected but for some of you a whole new lease of life. Many of you report you dread not having it by your side. This brings me back to that perky little red bag for the Pari O-PEP, we get many calls from those of you who have left your mucus clearance device behind in a hotel room or it has simply been mislaid. Well take a look HERE, you would find it difficult to forget to pack this one.

If you are looking for an Oscillating Positive Pressure device the why not choose the new Pari O-PEP you can order HERE

Inspired Inspiration with the Innospire Range

It takes real courage and confidence to change something which to many of you has been a firm favourite for many many years. Well that's just what Philips Respironics have done with the Portaneb Range. The Portaneb has been replaced by the Innospire Deluxe. It still comes in two 'flavours' with the
Sidestream or Sidestream Plus and having had a couple of demo models here for a while we think it looks pretty modern and quite stylish.

So what possessed Philips to try and reinvent the wheel? Well the new Innospire Deluxe still retains your favourite features such as a smooth running, service free motor, the space to store all your bits and bobs etc., but the case is now more compact and lighter than its predecessor, the on/off rocker switch is  easier to manage and the mains lead is hard wired in which will be a blessing for those of you who struggled to push it in firmly enough or have a habit of misplacing it. The lift up lid now folds back horizontally when your nebulising which will avoid it crashing shut half way through your therapy and as the new Innospire Deluxe  runs beautifully with the Sidestream and Sidestream Plus chambers, that therapy will be as efficient and as effective as always even slightly quicker

We understand you won't all be as excited as us here at Evergreen about the change from the Portaneb range to the Innospire but take a look by clicking HERE, we think you will be pleasantly surprised and with the Philips Respironics brand behind it we feel confident that you will quickly come to appreciate the improvements and in no time at all Innospire will be come a household name.

If its the Inspiration Elite your pinning for the Innospire Essence will be available soon.

Nebuliser servicing

Over the years the manufacture of nebulisers has changed. As components and materials have improved some companies have chosen to produce units that do not require annual servicing. You can see for yourself by clicking on our link https://evergreen-nebulizers.co.uk/

In the good old days every nebuliser needed a full service to maintain peak performance but now some manufacturers are offering service free models with a 3 year or 4 year comprehensive guarantee, taking the view that the service costs saved over the life of the machine more than cover the cost of a brand new unit. You can see whats available on the links below.
